PhotoScore Lite 6 is for use only with Sibelius 6. Upgrade to Sibelius 6.
Improvements and changes
PhotoScore Lite 6 is an updated version of PhotoScore Lite for use with Sibelius 6, and includes the following new features:
- Much improved handwritten recognition
- Increased printed music recognition and accuracy
- Now detects simple triplets
PhotoScore Ultimate 6 includes many other new features, including a new “Bad timing navigator” window that makes it easy to find and fix rhythmic mistakes, new find and replace functionality for text, rescoring features for part extraction and instrument re-ordering, improved text editing, and many more. Installing PhotoScore Lite 6 for Windows
Please follow these instructions carefully.
- Exit any programs which are running, including Sibelius (choose File > Exit).
- Don't uninstall your existing copy of PhotoScore Lite, if you have one - just leave it as it is.
- Click here to start downloading the installer (4.6MB).
- You will be asked whether or not to save PhotoScoreLite600.exe to disk: choose to save it on your Desktop.
- Once the download is complete, double-click PhotoScoreLite600 to install the update, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If you want to open PDF files, you should also download and install Ghostscript (11.7MB)
Installing PhotoScore Lite 6 for Mac
Please follow these instructions carefully.
- Exit any programs which are running, including PhotoScore Lite (choose File > Quit).
- Trash your existing PhotoScore Lite folder (inside Applications by default).
- Click here to start downloading the installer (15.5MB).
- When the download is complete, a volume called PhotoScore Lite 6 should be mounted on your desktop, and its window should open. If you don't see this volume or window, double-click the downloaded .dmg file to mount it.
- Double-click the Install PhotoScore Lite icon to install PhotoScore Lite, and follow the on-screen instructions.
